How to flip an image
1. Drop one photo or a batch. A PDF is refused here. 2. Leave Both axes, or pick Horizontal or Vertical. 3. Leave the format on automatic, or pick PNG when you want a lossless file. 4. Press “Flip image” and open the download beside the original.
Horizontal swaps left and right. Vertical swaps top and bottom. Both does the two swaps, so the top left corner lands at the bottom right. Width and height do not change. Text in the photo moves with the pixels.
Both axes is not a sideways rotate
Rotate image turns the photo 90 or 180 degrees and can swap width and height. Mirror image flips one axis at a time and does not offer both in one step. This page is the one that can do the two axes together.
A selfie that is already the right way up usually wants horizontal only. Both is for a scan that was saved upside down and mirrored, or for a graphic where the opposite corner should become the origin.
The photo stays in this tab
The canvas draws the bitmap and encodes a new file. GustKit does not fetch a photo from a link. Close the tab and the file is gone. Camera location is not copied into the download.
How to check the flip
1. Open the original and the download. 2. With both axes, the top left corner should sit at the bottom right. 3. Width and height should match. If the frame turned sideways, you opened Rotate image.
Mirror image flips one axis. This page can flip horizontal, vertical, or both, and it keeps the pixel size. Nothing is uploaded.
