Add a camera shake to a short video

FFmpeg rotates each frame a little, crops a window that jitters, and scales it back to the original size. Strong moves farther than light. The soundtrack stays when the file has one. Clips up to 30 seconds. A photo belongs on the image pages.

How to add shake

1. Drop a short video you already have. A photo or an audio file is refused here. 2. Leave light, or pick medium or strong. 3. Press “Apply shake” and download the MP4.

GustKit rotates each frame a little, then crops a window that jitters and scales it back to the original width and height. Strong tilts more and moves the window farther than light. When the file has a soundtrack, that track stays. A silent clip still shakes.

A wobble, not a steady shot

Deshake video tries to hold the camera still. This page does the opposite: it adds a small crop and rotate jitter. It does not zoom the center and it does not flip the clip. The download is always MP4.

The clip stays in this tab

FFmpeg runs in this browser. GustKit does not fetch video from a link. Close the tab and the file is gone. Clips up to the limit shown next to the button.

How to check the shake

1. Play the download next to the original. 2. A mark that stayed still should wobble. Strong should move it more than light. 3. If the download is not MP4, or the frame size changed, you opened a different page.

Deshake video tries to hold the camera still. This page runs FFmpeg crop and rotate to add a wobble and saves MP4. Nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

The download is MP4 and a fixed mark moves between frames. Did it work?

Yes. Strong moves the picture more than light. Width and height stay the same. A soundtrack stays when the file has one.

Why does the picture tilt?

The shake is a small rotate plus a crop that slides. Deshake video is the page that tries to remove shake.

Can I add shake and also zoom the center in one step?

No. Add the shake first, or zoom the center first, then open the other page on the download.

Is the video uploaded?

No. The shake runs in this tab.

The edges look black on a strong shake and the frame size matches. Did it work?

Yes. The rotate fills the corners from black, then the crop and scale write the original width and height.

Can I add shake and also steady the same clip in one step?

No. Those fight each other. Add the shake, or run deshake, then open the other page only if you still want the second pass.
