How to invert an image
1. Drop a photo you already have. A video or an audio file is refused here. 2. Leave full, or pick light or medium. 3. Leave PNG, or pick JPG. 4. Press “Invert image” and download.
GustKit moves each red, green and blue channel toward 255 minus itself. Light moves 40% of the way. Medium moves 70%. Full lands on the opposite color, so black becomes white and a bright red becomes cyan. Width and height stay the same. PNG keeps transparency. JPG fills empty pixels with white. Camera location is not copied.
A mix, then a full flip
Invert colors always flips 100% and can also save WebP. This page stops partway when you want the original still visible, and it saves PNG or JPG. Grayscale throws the hues away. Sepia pushes them toward brown. A video belongs on Invert video colors.
The photo stays in this tab
The canvas of this browser does the math. GustKit does not fetch a photo from a link. Close the tab and the file is gone. Photos up to the limit shown next to the button.
How to check the negative
1. Open the original and the download at the same zoom. 2. On Full, a bright red should turn cyan. 3. On Light, the red should still look reddish. If the size changed, you opened a different page.
