How to add text to an image
1. Drop one photo or a batch. Audio and PDF files are refused here. 2. Type the line. 3. Leave Medium, or pick Small, Large or Huge. The size is a share of the shorter side, so a batch stays consistent. 4. Pick a color and a position, then press “Add text”.
White text gets a dark outline and dark text gets a light one, so a line still shows on a busy photo. Width and height do not change. Save PNG when you need the sharpest letters. JPG is smaller and is the usual choice for a chat.
A caption, not a watermark
This page draws one readable line in the place you pick. Watermark image is the other page: it can repeat a faint stamp or a logo across the photo. Use that one when the words should sit behind the picture, and this one when someone should read the line.
Long text wraps into a few lines and then stops. A paragraph belongs in a document, not on this canvas. Accented letters in Portuguese and Spanish are drawn with the browser font.
The picture stays in this tab
The browser canvas paints the letters and encodes the file. Camera location is not copied into the download. Close the tab and the photo is gone. There is no account and no upload step.
How to check the caption before you send the photo
1. Open the download next to the original. The line should sit where you picked, and the edges of the photo should still match. 2. If the letters are hard to read, switch to pink or black and run again. 3. Use Watermark image instead when you want a repeated faint stamp.
Huge is a share of the shorter side, so a phone screenshot and a small icon do not get the same pixel size. The outline is part of the drawing. Nothing is uploaded.
