How to make a collage
1. Drop 2, 3 or 4 photos, in the order you want them. A video or a single photo is refused. 2. Leave Side by side, or pick Stacked or Grid. Grid uses two columns and centers a leftover photo. 3. Leave Fill each cell, or pick Show the whole photo when nothing should be cropped. 4. Pick a cell size and a background, then press “Make collage”.
Each cell is a square. An 8 pixel gap sits between cells. Fill crops the center of each photo so the cell is full. Show the whole photo letterboxes inside the cell, and the background color fills the rest. JPG cannot store a clear pixel, so pick PNG when you need the gaps to stay a color you chose on purpose.
One picture, not a folder of edits
Most image tools on GustKit save one result per photo. This page saves one file for the set. Pad image is the page that puts a single photo on a larger canvas. Watermark image stamps a line or a logo on each photo, one by one.
The photos stay in this tab
Nothing is uploaded. Camera location is not copied into the collage, because the new file is drawn on a canvas. Close the tab and the photos are gone.
How to check the collage before you post it
1. Open the download and count the photos. The order should match the order you dropped. 2. If a face is cropped, switch to Show the whole photo and run again. 3. Use PNG when the gap color has to stay exact. JPG is the smaller file.
Two photos side by side make a wide picture. A stack makes a tall one. Grid uses two columns. Pad image is for one photo on a larger canvas. Nothing is uploaded.
