Colors shift around the wheel, the same way as the CSS hue-rotate filter. Width and height stay the same. Camera location is not copied.

How to rotate hue

1. Drop a JPG, PNG or WebP you already have. Audio and video are refused here. 2. Leave 180°, or pick 90° or 270°. 3. Keep the original format, or choose JPG, PNG or WebP. 4. Press “Rotate hue” and compare a red or blue area with the original.

GustKit draws the photo on a canvas and applies the same mix as the CSS hue-rotate filter. 180° sends a red toward cyan and a green toward magenta. 90° and 270° land on the other side of the wheel. The pixel size does not change. Save PNG if the photo has a clear background you need to keep.

Hue is the color, saturation is how strong it is

Adjust saturation makes hues stronger or pulls them toward gray. Invert colors flips each channel. This page walks the hues around the wheel and leaves their strength alone. It does not crop, rotate the picture or resize. Camera location is not copied into the new file.

The photo stays in this tab

Nothing is sent to a server to be edited. Close the tab and the picture is gone. A photo over the megapixel limit on the page is refused, because the canvas has to hold every pixel.

How to check the new hues before you post the photo

1. Open the original and the download at the same zoom. 2. Look at a red or a blue area. 180° should move it toward the opposite side of the wheel. 3. If the turn went the wrong way, run again at 90° or 270°.

The pixel size does not change. Adjust saturation changes how strong the color is and does not walk it around the wheel. Rotate image turns the picture, not the hues. Nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Will a red shirt stay red?

Not at 90, 180 or 270 degrees. Those turns move the hue. 180° is the one that lands nearest the opposite color.

Does the size in pixels change?

No. Width and height stay the same. Rotate image is the page that turns the picture itself.

Can I change hue and also crop in one step?

No. Crop first, or rotate the hue first, then open the other page on the download.

Is the photo uploaded?

No. The canvas in this tab does the work.

The download is the same size and the colors moved. Did it work?

Yes. Hue rotate keeps the width and height and shifts the hues. 180° is the turn that lands nearest the opposite color.

Can I rotate hue and also crop in one step?

No. Crop first, or rotate the hue first, then open the other page on the download.
