Watermark a photo with text or a logo

Type a short line, or add a logo, and stamp it across one image or a batch. The canvas in this browser does the drawing. Nothing is uploaded.

Your file never leaves your device. Processed locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. Location and camera metadata (EXIF) are removed from the result.

How to watermark an image

1. Drop one photo or a batch. 2. Edit the text (it starts as DRAFT) or choose a PNG, JPG or WebP logo. 3. Pick placement, strength and, for text, a color that you can still read on the photo. 4. Press “Add watermark” and download.

The picture keeps its pixel size. Transparent logos stay transparent on PNG and WebP. JPG has no transparency, so empty areas of a logo sit on the photo color underneath, and a transparent photo becomes white.

Text, logo, or both

Text is drawn in a bold face with a thin outline so it stays readable on busy photos. A logo is scaled to a slice of the width and placed on the same spots. Repeated mode tiles both. Use a corner when you only want a small credit.

What is removed

The new file is drawn on a canvas, so camera location and other EXIF data are not copied. Orientation is already applied to the pixels. This does not lock the image: someone can still crop the stamp off.

Frequently asked questions

Can I watermark a whole folder of photos?

Yes, up to the batch limit shown above the drop area. One logo and one line of text are used on every image, then you can download a ZIP.

Will the photo get smaller in pixels?

No. Width and height stay the same. File size can change because the image is saved again as JPG, PNG or WebP.

Which color should I pick?

White with medium strength works on most photos. Black is easier to see on light backgrounds. Gray is quieter.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The watermark is drawn in this tab.
