How to add motion blur
1. Drop a JPG or PNG you already have. A video, an audio file or a WebP is refused here. 2. Leave horizontal, or pick vertical or diagonal. 3. Leave medium, or pick light or strong. 4. Leave PNG, or pick JPG. 5. Press “Apply motion blur” and download.
GustKit averages pixels along that line on the canvas. Light uses 4 pixels each way. Medium uses 8. Strong uses 16. Width and height stay the same. PNG keeps transparency. JPG fills empty pixels with white. Camera location is not copied.
A streak, not a soft box
Blur image softens every neighbor the same way. Pixelate image turns the photo into blocks. This page smears detail along one direction and leaves the crossing direction sharper. A short video belongs on Blur video, which saves MP4.
The photo stays in this tab
The canvas of this browser draws the streak. GustKit does not fetch a photo from a link. Close the tab and the file is gone. Photos up to the limit shown next to the button.
How to check the motion blur
1. Open the original and the download at the same zoom. 2. A hard edge across the blur direction should turn into a streak. Strong should streak farther than light. 3. If the size changed, you opened a different page.
Blur image softens every neighbor. This page averages pixels along one line and saves PNG or JPG. Nothing is uploaded.
