How to paint a watercolor
1. Drop a JPG or PNG you already have. A video, an audio file or a WebP is refused here. 2. Leave medium, or pick light or strong. 3. Leave PNG, or pick JPG. 4. Press “Apply watercolor” and download.
GustKit blurs the photo a little, then folds the color into a few pigment bands and lifts pure black and pure white. Strong uses a blur of 3 and fewer bands than light. Shadows lean a little blue. Width and height stay the same.
A wash, not a pencil sketch
Sketch image turns the photo into gray pencil lines. Oil paint clumps color into thick strokes. This page keeps a soft color wash and saves PNG or JPG. It does not add a caption and it does not change the size.
The photo stays in this tab
The canvas in this browser does the work. GustKit does not fetch a photo from a link. Close the tab and the file is gone. Camera location is not copied into the download.
How to check the watercolor
1. Open the original and the download at the same zoom. 2. A flat black patch should turn soft and a hard edge should look washed. Strong should lift black more than light. 3. If the size changed, you opened a different page.
