How to apply a highpass
1. Drop an audio file you already have. A photo or a video is refused here. 2. Leave light, or pick medium or strong. 3. Press “Apply highpass” and download.
GustKit runs the FFmpeg highpass filter. Light cuts at 80 Hz with one pole. Medium cuts at 300 Hz with two poles. Strong cuts at 2000 Hz with two poles. MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG and FLAC stay in that type. A video soundtrack belongs on the video pages.
A cut under the cutoff
Bass and treble raise or lower a band and keep the rest. This page removes what sits under the cutoff and leaves the length almost the same. It does not change the volume knob.
The audio stays in this tab
FFmpeg runs in this browser. GustKit does not fetch audio from a link. Close the tab and the file is gone. Files up to the limit shown next to the button.
How to check the highpass
1. Play the download next to the original. 2. A low rumble should drop. Strong should drop more than light. 3. If the file type changed, you opened a different page.
Bass and treble raise or lower a band. This page runs the FFmpeg highpass filter and keeps the file type. Notes under the cutoff fall away. Nothing is uploaded.
