Dark pixels become black hatch lines on white paper. Light uses one wide diagonal. Strong crosses a second diagonal and tightens the darkest ink. Width and height stay the same. PNG or JPG. Camera location is not copied.

How to crosshatch a photo

1. Drop a JPG or PNG you already have. A video, an audio file or a WebP is refused here. 2. Leave medium, or pick light or strong. 3. Leave PNG, or pick JPG. 4. Press “Apply crosshatch” and download.

GustKit reads the brightness of each pixel and draws black lines on white paper. Light uses one diagonal, and only where the photo is already dark. Strong adds a crossing diagonal and a tighter set in the darkest parts. Width and height stay the same. Clear pixels become paper.

Ink lines, not a pencil wash

Sketch image blends gray pencil tones. Edge detect paints a bright outline on black. This page keeps white paper and lays hatch lines where the photo is dark. It does not add a frame and it does not change the pixel size.

The photo stays in this tab

The canvas in this browser does the work. GustKit does not fetch a photo from a link. Close the tab and the file is gone. Camera location is not copied into the download.

How to check the crosshatch

1. Open the original and the download at the same zoom. 2. A dark patch should show black lines and a bright patch should stay white paper. Strong should draw more lines than light. 3. If the size changed, you opened a different page.

Sketch image blends gray pencil. This page draws hatch lines on white paper and saves PNG or JPG. Nothing is uploaded.
