The photo is folded into mirrored wedges around the center. 4 copies one quarter into the other three. 8 also mirrors across the diagonal. Width and height stay the same. PNG or JPG. Camera location is not copied.

Leave 6 wedges, or pick 4 or 8, then download PNG or JPG. Each wedge is a mirror of the next. The work runs in this tab.

How to make a kaleidoscope

1. Drop a JPG or PNG you already have. A video, an audio file or a WebP is refused here. 2. Leave 6 wedges, or pick 4 or 8. 3. Leave PNG, or pick JPG. 4. Press “Apply kaleidoscope” and download.

GustKit folds the photo around the center. The source wedge starts on the right and runs downward. 4 copies that quarter into the other three. 6 uses narrower wedges. 8 also mirrors across the diagonal. Width and height stay the same.

Repeated wedges, not one flip

Mirror image turns the whole photo once, left to right or top to bottom. This page repeats a slice so the same wedge appears all the way around. It does not add a frame and it does not change the pixel size.

The photo stays in this tab

The canvas in this browser does the work. GustKit does not fetch a photo from a link. Close the tab and the file is gone. Camera location is not copied into the download.

How to check the kaleidoscope

1. Open the original and the download at the same zoom. 2. A mark in one wedge should show up in the matching wedges. 8 should use narrower wedges than 4. 3. If the size changed, you opened a different page.

Mirror image flips the photo once. This page repeats mirrored wedges around the center and saves PNG or JPG. Nothing is uploaded.
