How to reduce noise
1. Drop an audio file you already have. A photo or a video is refused here. 2. Leave medium, or pick light or strong. 3. Press “Reduce noise” and download.
GustKit runs the FFmpeg afftdn filter. It lowers a steady hiss. Strong uses a higher reduction than light. MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG and FLAC stay in that type. A voice that was already clean can sound a little dull on strong. Keep the original until it sounds right.
Hiss, not a quiet gap
Noise gate turns quiet parts down. Highpass cuts bass. Even out audio lifts quiet parts. Fade audio shapes the start and the end. This page lowers noise across the file and keeps the length. It does not reverse the file and it does not change the tempo.
The audio stays in this tab
FFmpeg runs in this browser, on one thread. GustKit does not fetch audio from a link. Leave the tab open until the download appears. Close it and the file is gone. Audio up to the limit shown next to the button.
How to check the noise reduction
1. Play the download next to the original. 2. A steady hiss should sit lower. Strong should pull it down more than light. 3. If the file type changed, you opened a different page.
Noise gate turns quiet parts down. This page runs FFmpeg afftdn and keeps the file type. Nothing is uploaded.
