How to shift color temperature
1. Drop a JPG or PNG you already have. A video, an audio file or a WebP is refused here. 2. Leave warm, or pick neutral or cool. 3. Leave PNG, or pick JPG. 4. Press “Shift temperature” and download.
GustKit multiplies red, green and blue on the canvas. Warm uses 1.12 on red and 0.82 on blue. Cool uses 0.84 on red and 1.16 on blue. Neutral leaves each channel as it was. Width and height stay the same. A gray pixel turns amber on warm and steel on cool.
A red and blue shift, not a brown tint
Sepia paints the photo brown. Hue rotate turns the whole color wheel. Adjust saturation pulls color toward gray or away from it. This page only moves the balance of red and blue. It does not crop the photo and it does not add a frame.
The photo stays in this tab
The canvas in this browser does the work. GustKit does not fetch a photo from a link. Close the tab and the file is gone. Camera location is not copied into the download.
How to check the temperature
1. Open the original and the download. 2. A gray patch should turn amber on Warm and toward blue on Cool. Neutral should stay close to the original. 3. If the pixel size changed, you opened a different page.
Sepia paints the photo brown. This page shifts red and blue on the canvas and saves PNG or JPG. Nothing is uploaded.
